At Quotec, we're continually looking for ways to simplify quoting, improve pricing accuracy and reduce manual administration.

We're pleased to announce the release of our updated Lysaght Supplier Configuration, which will be deployed to all Quotec customers after business hours on Monday, 13 July 2026.

This release introduces updated supplier pricing, automated branch selection and significantly improved freight calculations for Lysaght products, providing a more accurate and streamlined quoting experience.

Why We've Made This Change

One of the challenges when quoting Lysaght products has always been determining which branch should fulfil an order and accurately calculating freight.

Until now, this often required users to manually select suppliers or determine the appropriate branch before pricing could be completed.

Our new Supplier Configuration removes much of that complexity.

By incorporating Lysaght's freight rules directly into Quotec, the system is now able to automatically determine the correct fulfilment branch and calculate freight using Lysaght's published freight matrix.

The result is faster quoting, more consistent pricing and less manual administration.

What's Included?

This release includes several important improvements.

Updated Supplier Pricing

We've updated pricing across the Quotec Supplier Network for:

• Lysaght Steel & Cladding
• Gliderol Roller Doors supplied through Lysaght

These updated price files will be available for deployment following the scheduled release.

Smarter Freight Calculations

The updated Supplier Configuration now:

• Automatically selects the correct Lysaght branch responsible for consolidation and dispatch.
• Calculates freight using Lysaght's freight matrix based on the value of Lysaght materials included within the order.
• Removes the need to manually determine which Lysaght branch should fulfil your order.
• Produces more consistent and accurate freight calculations.

For most users, this means less time configuring suppliers and greater confidence that quoted freight reflects supplier requirements.

Do I Need To Do Anything?

Whether any action is required depends on how your organisation currently purchases from Lysaght.

Existing Lysaght Customers Adopting Quotec's Configuration

If you already purchase through Lysaght and would like to use Quotec's latest Supplier Configuration, simply:

• Update your default supplier to Lysaght – Head Office
• Deploy the latest Lysaght Cost Update once it becomes available

This will enable all of the new pricing and freight functionality.

New Lysaght Customers

If your organisation doesn't currently purchase through Lysaght, you'll first need to:

• Copy the Quotec Network Suppliers into your organisation
• Configure your default suppliers
• Deploy the latest Lysaght pricing

Once complete, you'll be ready to begin quoting with the new Supplier Configuration.

Existing Custom Supplier Configurations

Some organisations have customised their own Lysaght supplier records or supplier logic.

If this applies to your business and you wish to retain your existing configuration, please do not deploy the latest Lysaght Price Files until you've spoken with our Support Team.

We'll help update your pricing while preserving your existing supplier configuration wherever possible.
